ok i have a i phone look alike type player rockchip .( HAVE A IMAGE BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO POST IT ON THIS) firstly it froze on the starting screen and just stayed on the welcome screen and when i plug it in the comp it would jus come up wit a computer icon n stayed frozen on that. i looked aroun on the forum to fix this prob came across someones advice to download a programme to which deletes everything on the player and re load firmwire and re formatt it and player should come back to life. well i deleted my old stuff from the player . and now the player wont even turn on . evn when i plug it in the computer. the consumer update firmwire that was suppose to be on the disk that came with the player isnt on it . only has avi converter. n when i try to load this disk on my comp it says "ERROR 1309 MAKE SURE CON UPDATE FIRMWIRE IS ON DISK...." so i still installed it by pressing the ignoring button to install . n when the update firmwire window does appear n i press update it just comes up with the ERROR sign . i have been searching and trying to bring this bak to life but am still lost still looking aroun for firm wire for this . so n e help from ppl would be appreciated ., o my computer does still pick up my player whn i plug it in with a dong sound and icon on bottm of window and also in device manager with rockusb device icons . but it doesnt show up in "MY COMPUTER" as a removable disk storage. now i had a look in the dead players forum about opening up this player and doing that tweezer on chip thing . do i have to do this????? i am tottally lost and dont know wot i can do to fix this.

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE ADVICE ME ON THIS AND TELL ME IF THIS IS A FIXABLE PROB OR NOT.
THE MESSED UP PART OF ALL THIS IS I ONLY GOT THIS PLAYER N USED IT FOR A WEEK AND A HALF N THIS HAPPENED . N I CANT RETURN IT

Might be worth trying another firmware, there are some here, pick the one which looks most like your player.

U R SO THE MAN " KNOB " thank you so much man your advice and links just put me in the right spot to download the right firmwire . i just downloaded that updated my player and when i finished BOOM it came back to life. man thank you again so much wouldnt and couldnt hav done it witout u .
